Single Line Mechanical TOF LiDAR Applications in AGV/AMR

Functions

LiDAR is an acronym for "light detection and ranging". Its working principle is the system emits a detection laser beam to the target, and then receives the return signal reflected by the target, and performs high-speed processing on ToF of laser, and obtains the real 3D point cloud scene and information: distance, speed, orientation, shape, size, attitude, etc.

LiDAR plays a crucial role in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) navigation and AGV/AMR (Automated Guided Vehicle/Autonomous Mobile Robot) obstacle avoidance. Through high-precision scanning, LiDAR can acquire real-time environmental information, providing accurate map data for SLAM navigation to achieve precise positioning and autonomous navigation for robots. At the same time, during the operation of AGV/AMR, LiDAR can quickly detect obstacles and plan obstacle avoidance paths through intelligent algorithms, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of tasks by the robots.
